Change User Roles

It is possible to change the user roles. This small guide will explain how you change roles for the users inside of a trip-list.

As a Trip Owner, you have the option to change user roles in case a member needs more or less control over the trip-list. 

Simply follow these steps to the user roles:

  1. Go into the “Manage members” section in the trip-list.
  2. Select the dropdown menu next to the name of that specific member. The available role options will appear there.
  3. The role is changed by clicking on a new role.

Who can change the user roles?

Users with a Trip Owner or Trip Planner user role are the only ones that are able to change a user role for other users. If the user is a Trip Planner then they aren’t able to change the user role to Trip Owner for other users.
