1. Who we are, and what Lentii is

Lentii is operated by Lentii ApS, Ceresbyen 46, st. 2., 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark, CVR 40600485, hello@lentii.com.

Lentii is a tool for planning trips. You collect ideas, build trip lists, and share them with the people you are travelling with. Using Lentii is free.

These terms are a contract between you and Lentii ApS. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal data and forms part of this agreement.

2. Who can use Lentii

You must be at least 16 years old.

If you are under 18, you are still a minor under Danish law, and there are limits on what you can commit to. Lentii is free, so this rarely matters — but if we ever introduce paid features, you may only pay with money you are entitled to spend yourself, never on credit, and you may need your parent’s or guardian’s consent.

3. Your account

Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account.

You can delete your account whenever you want, from your profile. When you do, we delete your content, subject to section 5 on shared lists.

4. What you upload stays yours

You keep all rights to everything you put into Lentii — your trip lists, your text, your images.

To run the service, we need your permission to handle that content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, back it up, display it, convert it technically (resizing, thumbnails, format changes), and show it to the people you choose to share it with — including the public, if you make a list public. We may pass it to the providers who run our infrastructure, and only for that purpose.

That licence exists to operate, secure and improve Lentii. Nothing else. It ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in routine backups that are erased on our normal schedule, content covered by section 5, and anything we must keep by law.

We will not use your content in our marketing without asking you first. If we would like to feature one of your public lists, we will ask, and you can say no.

You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload anything you do not have the rights to, and do not upload other people’s personal data without their permission.

5. Shared lists

When you invite someone into a trip list, you are giving them access to what is in it.

If you delete your account and a list still has other active collaborators, the list stays available to them. Your name and your personal data are removed from it, but the content you added to a shared plan does not disappear from under the people you were planning with. Lists that only you had access to are deleted with your account.

Before your content is deleted, you can ask us for a copy — see section 11.

6. What you may not do

Do not use Lentii to break the law, to harass anyone, or to upload content that is illegal, hateful, or sexual content involving children.

Do not upload malware, try to break into other people’s accounts, scrape the service in bulk, or interfere with how it runs.

Do not upload personal data about children into public lists.

If you use Lentii in a school or another organisation, you are doing so on behalf of that organisation. The organisation is responsible for the personal data its staff put into the service, including any consent it needs from parents.

7. Reporting content

If you believe something on Lentii is illegal, tell us at hello@lentii.com. Say what the content is, where it is (the exact link), why you believe it is illegal, and how to reach you. You do not need an account to report something, and you can report anonymously if it concerns child sexual abuse material.

We confirm that we received your report, we look at it properly rather than automatically, and we tell you what we decided.

8. When we restrict content or accounts

If we remove content, hide it, or restrict an account, we tell the person affected what we did, why, whether it followed someone’s report, whether any automated tool was involved, which rule or law we relied on, and how to object. You can always reply to us and ask us to look again.

We apply the rules in section 6 as written — fairly, proportionately, and with regard for your rights.

9. The service itself

We work to keep Lentii available, but we do not promise it will never be down or that every feature will stay exactly as it is. If we make a change that meaningfully reduces what you can do, we will tell you in advance and you can leave.

10. Our responsibility

Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by us, for anything we do deliberately or with gross negligence, for product liability under Danish law, or for your rights as a consumer.

Beyond that: Lentii is free, and our responsibility for other losses is limited to DKK 500 per user. We are not responsible for what you or other users upload, or for anything on the third-party websites we link to.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We back the service up, but backups are not a guarantee.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Lentii and delete your account at any time.

We can end your agreement with 30 days’ notice by email, for any reason. We can suspend or close your account immediately, without notice, only if you upload illegal content, attack or abuse the service or other users, or seriously breach these terms — and we will tell you why, under section 8.

In every case, you can ask us for a copy of your content, and you have at least 30 days from the end of your agreement to do so. We send it free of charge, in a format you can open elsewhere.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the law changes, when we add or rebuild features, for security reasons, or to correct mistakes. We will not change them arbitrarily.

We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and we will say what changed. If you do not want the new terms, you can delete your account before that date — and you can take your content with you under section 11. If you keep using Lentii after the date, the new terms apply to you.

13. Complaints

Write to us first at hello@lentii.com. Most things are quickest to fix that way.

If we reject your complaint and you are a consumer, you can take it to Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk.

14. Law and courts

Danish law applies to these terms.

If you are a consumer living outside Denmark, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer rules in the country where you live — nothing here takes those away.

Disputes can be brought before the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living in the EU or EEA, you can also bring your case in the courts where you live, and we can only bring a case against you there.

15. Contact
